Regenerative Farming Builds Community Farm to Table Discussion and Dinner, July 15, 2017

Regenerative Farming Builds Community

Bring the whole family to enjoy a farm-fresh dinner and a farm experience at Soul Food Farm, a Solano County small farm, growing nutrient-dense food in healthy soil using regenerative practices. Learn about regenerative farming during a thoughtful dinner discussion facilitated by farmer Alexis Koefoed and Holistic Management Field Professional, Spencer Smith. Meet others who realize the important role of healthy, accessible food in building a vibrant community. Ideate about how to build relationships between farmers and consumers in order to revitalize the California landscape. There will be supervised farm activities for children to partake in, while the grown ups discuss the future of food in California and learn about regenerative farming. Everyone will enjoy a meal together.

The farm to table dinner features meats, vegetables, fruits, oils and cheese from local farms and ranches. It is a meal filled with peak freshness and flavor thanks to the farmers who grew nutrient-dense food, and the chef who expertly prepared each dish in the on-farm kitchen.
